MAC Paint Pot in Bare Study

Welcome to my first blog entry!! ^_^

This is going to be a place where I can document my photo shoots, make-up sessions and retouches. Knowledge should be shared and I hope you find something in these posts that help your own work in some way.

Shimmery white:

When we started this look, we wanted to do something that would match Joyce’s pretty shell earrings. She was friendly enough to bring her MAC Paint Pot with so I could test it out.

Model: Joyce

Products: MAC Paint Pot in Bare Study; Kryolan pigment in silver, Kryolan CEL sealer, Kryolan eyeshadow in Antracite and Eyelure’s lengthening Naturlites.

First time I got to use a MAC Paint Pot and I ABSOLUTELY loved the creamy texture so easy to blend. It created a perfect base to blend the Antracite into. I’ve been a huge fan of Eyelure’s false eyelashes for some time and they added a very natural finish to this look. I mixed some of the silver pigment and CEL Sealer to create white eyeliner, which was used on the lower lid.

For lighting I made use of a very useful corner facing a white wall in my flat. By bouncing my camera flash off the corner it creates a very even light for beauty shots. I will soon be updating a page with the basic equipment I make use of on a regular basis.

If you have any Questions about the make-up or lighting, feel free to leave a comment.
